Mike and I drove up to Holland with our friends Riener and Utta from Germany. We settled on the Grote Markt square where the place buzzed with university students, street vendors and tourists. It was one of those ‘set up now, ask permission later’ scenarios. Although our visit was short and our time for photographic discovery was limited, we managed to meet and photograph some wonderful people. Mike was single and in love with everyone, I tried to keep him focused. The guy selling pancakes asked us if we wanted some hashish, “Not now thanks, we’re working, maybe some pancakes later though.
